On June 22,2018 Upper Island Counselling hosted an information table at the 100 Women Who Care Campbell River cocktail reveal launch party.
100 Women Who Care CR is designed to make an immediate, direct, and positive effect on the lives of our neighbours by bringing together 100 + fantastic women in Campbell River who care about local community causes and want to help. Each woman becomes a member by joining and makes a $100 donation to watch how the 100+ members commitment turns into a $10,000+ donation. As a nominee, Upper Island Counselling was eligible to be awarded a donation of $5,000! While we did not win the award this time around, we were grateful for the opportunity to connect with other not for profit and charitable organizations who are doing such great work in our community.
