Coping With Stress and Anxiety Amidst COVID-19

As COVID-19 continues to be at the forefront of everyone’s minds in Canada and around the world, many are grappling to adjust to new norms for return to work and day-to-day life. At the same time, communities are coping with tremendous loss, grief, and trauma, while facing an uncertain future. It’s normal to feel concerned about what’s next and it’s important to continue using  the strategies and tools you’ve relied on to support yourself and your family in this challenging time.

The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is Canada's largest mental health teaching hospital and one of the world's leading research centres in its field. The link below are some ideas provided by CAMH that might be helpful during this unusual time. Some might apply to you and some might not – or they may need to be adapted to suit you personally, your personality, where and with whom you live, or your culture. Please be creative and experiment with these ideas and strategies.   – adapted from
