COVID-19 Response Update

I am reaching out with an update to last week’s communication and to assure you that Upper Island Counselling continues to support our member companies and clients during the COVID-19 pandemic.  The main points are:

  • Currently, all counsellors have transitioned to working from a home-based office and remain available for our clients by way of phone, Skype or Zoom. I’m pleased to report that many clients have accepted the new means of communication with very few questions or concerns.
  • We will continue with this form of service delivery in the weeks to come, until the health organizations give notice that it is once again safe to have in-person sessions.
  • We are working on a regular bulletin that we will provide to the member companies for distribution to their employees.  The bulletin will focus on providing resources and information relevant to coping with this unprecedented situation.
  • Our Facebook pages will also be updated regularly with support pertaining to this situation.

Finally, I’d like to remind you that we are available to you, any questions you may have.   Please don’t hesitate to reach out to if there is anything we can do to provide additional support. As always, the health and wellness of our members and their families remain our top priority.

Take good care and be safe,

Kelsi Baine
