What is the cost?

Having an Employee and Family Assistance program like ours is cost-effective, and it shows employees that their company and union cares about them.  Human Resources research indicates that an effective EFAP can provide a cost savings between 30% to 80% over the cost of the service. 

The cost of our service is a competitive value of $6.50 per employee per month.

What feedback do I receive about utilization?

Utilization statistics are reported to member companies on an annual basis, or more frequently if requested.

Can I call and talk with a counsellor about an employee issue?

You are welcome to call our counsellors for a confidential consultation about an employee situation.  However, counsellors will not discuss a client with their employer unless the client has requested, and provided a written release of information.

Can the UICS be used as a disciplinary tool?

NO.  Our counselling services are accessed voluntarily.  Employers can provide information on the UICS, but the decision to make the appointment is the choice of the employee.

Will you come to our workplace to do presentations?

Yes, our counsellors offer the following presentations and can develop others to meet your needs:
